FORE SEASONS GOLF STUDIO started with a pretty simple frustration. I'm a family man and an electrician — not a country-club guy. I just wanted to get better at golf without spending a mortgage payment to do it, and without driving all over the place to find somewhere open when I actually have the time.

There isn't a ton to do close to home around here. Lacey Township and the towns nearby are short on places to go after work, on a rainy Saturday, or once the season winds down and the local courses close for winter. I kept thinking the area deserved something of its own.

So that's what this is — a 24/7 indoor golf studio built right here in Lacey, priced for regular people, and open whenever you are. The hope is that it grows into a little landmark for recreation in the township: a dependable place to play, practice, and spend time with friends, any season, any hour.

No pretense, no dress code, no country-club attitude. Just good equipment, fair pricing, and a local owner who'll probably be in the next bay over.
